Introducing the new 2.5D crystal
photo laser etching process.
A normal 2D etching has only 3-4
layers. The new 2.5D process
has up to 8 layers. The additional
layers give the image added
dimensionality, tremendous detail
and almost a 3D effect. Larger
pieces will have up to 800,000
points.

The new 2 1/2D image process is a tremendous
improvement to the traditional 2D process. A
standard 2D process typically has 3 exact layers.
The new 2 1/2D process utilizes special computer
routines to make a traditional photo have up to 8
layers. The 2 1/2D process also only needs a
scan of a standard photograph or a image from a
digital camera. In our 2 1/2D process dark colors
in a photo have fewer layers, lighter colors have
more layers. The result is greater detail and an
etched image that defies description.

Photo Etch Crystals are another example of combining 3D images with
large Photo etching areas. Each Photo Etch Crystal has one or two crystals
which can contain a 3D image and then another area to etch a photograph.

Photo Frames : Have us etch a 3D image in each of the crystal cubes
and then slide your favorite photograph into the larger crystal next to the
cubes. 3D images can be selected from images in our 3D Image library
that are sized for Item # 1629 (2.4" x 1.6" x 1.6").
